WHAT IS ARCHITECURE?

During history, the architecture has received lots of definitions from some of the most important architects. For example, Marcus Vitruvio Pollio, had a brief definition for it that was: «Architecture is the art of building». Which for me is completly true but still incomplete. The definition I would give to architecture is the one that Frank Lloyd Wright said: «Architecture is the scientific art of making structure express ideas.» It is the idea of mixing science and technique with art what makes me opt for this definition as the best.
